Tasting Notes
I tried one after a week in the bottle, still green but I think it\'ll be great soon!
Here's the recipe I posted on tastybrew, let me know what you think of it. I'll put a picture of the pint up within the next week or so when I take another tasting. :mug:
edit: tastybrew claims the ibu is 49, but that seems pretty high. Beer tools says 39, which may be more realistic.

How did this turn out? I'm looking for a pale to brew and this caught my eye

Also looking forward to hearing results. Love this beer. Apparently it just won a big award. I used to get all my brewing stuff from them, they were so awesome!

No all grain versions? awww.....

Sorry for the late response guys, I haven't been on here nearly as much as I used to be. It turned out great! A lot of people really liked it, although some complained of too much bitterness (just right imo).

Let me know if you brew it! It was my second brew ever and my first one developing the recipe. As far as the awards go, it hasn't been entered in any competitions so I think you might be confusing mine with another beer. Is Mad River a brewery perhaps? I came up with the name after taking a memorable trip to vermont and exploring the breweries up there. The simcoes stuck to my palate all the way home and I knew I had to try brewing with them! :rockin:

Also for the all grain - I haven't gotten into it yet, but I'm sure someone could do a quick conversion for you!

Here's a photo, with a bit of chill haze but not too bad
