Default 8 oz maltodextrin = how much increase in gravity?

Hey guys, just did my first partial mash. They said the OG would be 1.042-1.046. I added 8 oz of maltodextrin that wasn't called for in the recipe. My OG came out to 1.052. I'm trying to figure out how efficient my first mash was...so as an approximation, how much would 8 oz of maltodextrin normally increase the gravity? Thanks!

Sweet...looks like I did a pretty good job at my first mash then. Thanks for the link, I've seen ********.com before but not beercalculus.
