I have made extract with steeping before and turned out well...
I want to try AG today and have everything I need... but I am not sure about the mash....
I know the Cara-Pils, Caramel/Crystal Malt - 40L, and the Chocolate Malt are for steeping when i did extract with steeping but,
is the flaked barley and roasted barley in my stout recipe also for steeping grains, or do they all go in the mash? including the carapils, crystal, chocolate?
Primary: Crean Lake Ale, Winter Ale
Drinking: Edworts Apfelwein, FrostHammer Ale
