Hi there, I'm completely new to brewing and was just wondering what the easiest thing to brew would be, (and still tastes alright :D) I was thinking of maybe a cider or mead, but then I'm just not too sure. I don't have any gear yet either, so maybe I'd want to do something that doesn't require ten tons of equipment.

Eventually I wouln't mind making a good cider and distilling it into some Calvados, but I am guessing that it might be quite some time away.

Note: I'm probably not gonna go through a ton of stuff, it's more to expand my alchoholic horizons and appreciation of complex flavours.

Hello and welcome. I'm sorry but I know nothing of ciders or meads. I'm just a beer drinker.:) Someone will be along shortly or you could pose your question in the cider and mead section of the Forums.
