I am brewing my first batch, and even though I was right in front on my stove, I was not able to prevent a boilover (while moving the pot, the foam just went out of the pot).
Anyway, other than the mess that I need to clean before my wife came back home, its there a negative (side effect) on losing part of the foam. I know it's part of the hotbreak and its the cause by the coagulation of proteins, but will this have a big impact on the final taste ?
Thanks for your help.
