thermocouplers

I just picked up a watlow sd3c controller and 2 Johnson s350 controller arrays

I know they can use most thermosensors but what would you recommend
I also picked up two k type probes would they work for both controllers..

this is for a freezer/ferm chamber freezer control,,freezer recric fan, ferm chamber fans for cool, heat lamp, recirc fans..

picked up three 110.v 4" fans

can I use these solid K probes with either the Watlow SD3C and or the Johnson S350 controllers.
or should I get sheathed probes like these

I can't answer your question, but the first thing you need to find out is if the controllers use thermistors or thermocouples as they are not the same thing and work on an entirely different principle. Did the controllers come with any documentation? The docs should spell out the specs for you. If not, you might try checking online. I know you can download the Johnson Control users manual on their site, at least you can for the A419 digital that I have. Not sure what's available on the Watlow unit.
