The problem I have with clone recipes is that they never seem to refer to the source of why they picked what they picked for ingredients. For example, I can't tell you how many Anchor Porter clone recipes I have seen that include roasted barley as an ingredient, but this is not in the beer according to Anchor.

SRM of 31-35 implies that these are estimates that are not based on any actual measurement. I suppose I could go to the trouble of actually measuring the color of Anchor Porter myself, but I'm not currently equipped to do so.

You're out of luck, I'm afraid. I've got the specs of most of Anchor's core range taken for a lab analysis. So I can tell you Liberty Ale is 11 SRM and 37.5 IBU. Unfortunately, their Porter is missing.
