I hang around nursing homes a lot as MIL is in ill health, and the good news is, hardly any men around these places....! They are all gone by this stage. Assisted living places are a little different. You do see a few.

I guess that's a plus, I'd hate being a vegetable. When I see an obituary around here for someone over 100, it's always a woman who was in a nursing home. The men seem to top-out in the mid-90s, but mostly they die in their own homes or after "short illnesses".
What do women look for in a man in their 80s?
