Howdy. I just wanted to say that I've been lurking and reading everything on here for 2 months and I have NO questions! So, thank you all for already answering everything that I was going to ask since Christmas. I have used the search feature daily and read all of the posts in the "Beginner's" forum. So thanks for answering these over the last couple of months:
There are no bubbles in my airlock!! Should I dump??
There is white stuff floating in my fermenter!! Is it infected!!???
When should I [rack/bottle/transfer to secondary/take hydrometer reading]?
How do I sanitize my bottles?
How do I make a yeast starter?
It's been one week - can I bottle?
These, and many, many other newbie questions are easily answered by just reading. Read the stickies, read the posts, use the search feature, and relax. You will find that most of your questions are answered by one word: patience. There is nothing worse than having no home brew in your queue, so it is difficult when we start. However, relax and all will work out just fine!
Thanks to all of you veterans that help us every day!
Happy Brewing!
