They're cheap, that's for sure. I did plenty of research on this when I was looking into buying my first brew pot not too long ago. I concluded that the graniteware would be a good choice if you know you're going to go for full-boils or all grain very soon and will be buying a large (investment piece) boiling pot, then using the graniteware just to heat sparge water. That said, as long as the enamel doesn't crack, you'll have a great pot to make beer with. I ended up getting a superpot (stainless with an aluminum core) and it works great on my weak electric apartment stove.
