Too much! Actually, I already had everything but the flowmeter (and windowscreening) from my last rig. I just repurposed things.

So, all in all about $6K. A lot more than if one were to build but, honestly, at this point I'd rather fork out the cash.
 
Cool, I am getting one within a month, cant wait! Love the mods you did, I plan on most of the same. My buddy has one of these and it works GREAT with it, I highly recommend it.

Do you have any pictures of the modifications to your Brew-Magic? I would really like to see how you incorporated the flowmeter.
 
Several of my friends and I are building a 55 gallon stainless system. It will be like BrewMagic's Daddy. We'll be automating it with a Brewtroller, solenoid valves, and brewing software.
