I just got my first shipment since joining Valley Malt's MOTMC. 50lb sack of organic pilsner malt and some smaller bags of honey & light crystal malts. My brother & I did a 5 gal batch of saison last weekend and used my new Victoria to mill 12 lbs of the pilsner... i messed up the milling and we wound up with some low gravity beer. anyway... check out VM. pretty cool company!
 
Do they still do this malt of the month club? I've been interested in sourcing malt locally in New England and have read about this malting company and have been intrigued by this idea of a "malt field share". Is a cool idea to add variety to what I brew as well like our CSA makes us branch out in what we cook and eat.
