Hello! I live in Ames, Iowa. I am a graduate student at Iowa State and have been brewing for just a few months now. I'm studying organic chemistry and have found that brewing is a great hobby for scientific/technical minded people. I'd love to hear from other brewers who reside in Iowa. Happy brewing!

Welcome to the forum. I'm just about 15 miles south of you. Have you checked out the Ames Brewers League as of yet?
I'm also a grad student at ISU - food science here.
I'm not new to brewing, but this is my first post on this forum. I've been brewing about 4 years now, and let's just say i haven't yet found a brew forum where I've been comfortable. Seeing another person from ISU made me decide to give this one a try.
