I am brewing a honey weizen this weekend. I have read a lot of posts about adding half of the LME at the start and half at flame out. I am going to add my 2lbs of honey at flame out. If I add half of my 6lbs of LME at flame out is that too much to be adding at flame out.
Also in Palmers how to brew book he suggests waiting till you get a hot break before adding any hops or LME/DME. Anyone got any thoughts on this ?
