I have a keg that I want to leave some StarSan in. How long can I keep it in there? I was thinking about leaving it in for a week and a half or so.

I think first you should clean your keg with cleaner like PBW.
You can keep your cleaner in the keg of some time.
Then you give it a good rinse and after then you sanitize it with StarSan.
You do not get any benefit with prelong contact time (over two minutes)

If you use distilled water (so dissolved minerals in your water don't effect the PH) your Star-San will last almost indefinitely as long as it doesn't get contaminated with too much other crap (wort, crusty mash paddle gunk etc.)

as long as the PH remains below 3 I believe, and the Star-San is not cloudy (like milk) it should still be effective.

I have read of folks filling kegs with it just to store the sanitizer and dispense from as needed.

Personally I keep mine in a 15 gal bucket mixed with distilled water and change it out every few weeks because I brew a lot and constantly rinse everything in the same bucket, it gets a little grungy eventually
