Is this a good deal on a burner?

Looks like a fair price for a decent burner. If, however, you decide to step up to 10-gallon brews, it would be too small to hold a keggle.

But to get you started in AG, looks like a decent deal. IF you do upgrad to a bigger burner for 10-gallon batches, you can always continue to use this one for heating your mash / sparge water.

Just curious what would shipping on something like that be from the states?

I don't know precisely, but it'd be more than the cost of the burner, I'm sure.

I'm not sure now much it weighs; I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. Here's a follow-up question: how much should expect to pay for a brewpot (aluminum)?

Cost me something in the neighborhood of 40-45 dollars to ship a seven pound package to England two months ago.
