Hola all,

Is it ok to brew up 5L turbo cider in a 23L container? Only used it to do brew beer so far, but venturing into fields new. Was thinking adding little honey and some raspberries.

Thoughts?

I know here in the states there's a variety of inexpensive, drinkable wines that come in 1 gallon (that's about 3700 ml to you mister! haha) jugs. See if you can't find something slightly smaller for your purposes. The 23l container would work in theory, but it'd be far easier to introduce oxygen into it if it's got so much headspace.. esp if you follow one of these recipes where you have to introduce more apple juice later.

next - I dunno bout raspberries but honey is complex sugars and - while it may be tasty after a bit - *will* make your cider that much less turbo.
