DO you have a keezer or a kegerator with a tower. If it is the later then the beer line in the tower is not getting cool

You need longer lines. I have heard of people using picnic taps with a foot of line and having good pours, that is definitely not the norm.

Also if you stay at 5psi your beer will be undercarbed soon.

Longer lines will keep a good carb and give a good pour.

My lines are 5th long. What PSI should I roll with?

Psi really depends on the brew. I serve at 12 or a shade higher(ipa's mostly). There are calculators for co2 volumes, line I'd, however I find that a foot of line per psi works great (I use the std 3/16). So I keep the reg set to a little over 12 and have a little over 12 foot of line from keg to tap.
