Due to poor efficiency (no matter what I've tried) I decided to try a new mash tun. I currently have a cooler with a copper manifold but I recently got a sankey keg I plan on turning into my new mash tun.

I've done some searching here, and have talked to a bunch of people and it looks like a false bottom is the best way to go. My only question is which one? I have noticed quite a difference in price so I'm not sure what the differences are. Some people I've talked to have also had trouble with too much grain getting through so I'm guessing there are cheaper ones that don't work as well?

So far I'm leaning to the weld less mash conversation kit on www.morebeer.com (http://morebeer.com/view_product/19807/102220) because of its price and because it includes everything. However I've also looked at the ones on Northern Brewer and also Sabco (http://www.brew-magic.com/ketl_acc_falsebtm.html). Is one better then another?

Thanks

Thats the one I use in both my mash and boil, ( The one from MoreBeer ) but with the Boil I have a piece of alum. screen streched over it to filter out the hops and it works great!

Mine is all electric so I dont have to worry about any scorching on the bottom.
