Will these be usably fresh? How much are they giving away? I actually need Saaz hops - I have some Hallertau, but I'd take more.
Is it worth driving from Columbia?
 
That's right... they are FREE! Have fun, guys and gals; I hope you enjoy! I'd be there if I were in the area, I would not mind old hops.
 
FYI, I got some of these Hops last year and they were perfectly fine for several Kolsch & Pilsner beers I've brewed. I just weigh them and vaccuum seal them. If hops are a natural preservative and are oily in nature, I would assume they are able to survive quite some time in my kegerator & in my refrigerator. Anyone who is attending, I'll have some buddies from the "EastSideBrewers" with me. Plans are to either hit up Bottleworks for lunch or make an appearance at Growlers afterwards. Since I'm taking the rare day off from work, I'm gonna make this day extra special.
