Check that out. That deep amber color comes from nothing but Maris Otter and a 3 hour boil. This is in a 1" diameter sample tube. I think it'll be pretty darn gorgeous in a full glass next Christmas. Merry Christmas and cheers!

1.121, but was shooting for 1.110, so I did a little math and added some water back. I figure that'll yield an extra beer or three. Actually, it was more like a 3.5 hour boil because I ran off a little too much.

EDIT: I diluted it a bit because I'm really pushing the limits of a finicky yeast (1968 ESB) and 1.121 was too rich for my blood ...
