I actually have some left over crabapple juice that my wife has given me (left overs from making jelly!!!)
What she did to make the juice was to boil the apples until they could be mashed.
She then mashed them and put on cheesecloth to drain the juice.
she would then take the juice, boil it and add sugar to make jelly. (i love crabapple jelly)

so... she has some left over juice that she has canned.
Could i just rack on secondary on a wheat ale?
If so how much to a 5 gallon batch?
Also has anyone made a crabapple beer? how was it? what kind of ale would be best to mix the juice with?
Thanks guys im new at this!!!

Isn't the crabapple without the added sugar tart/sour? Just adding the raw juice to your beer is going to make it taste like the raw juice, not the jelly that has sugar added.

Do you have a kegging setup? This sounds like it would be delicious if you could use it as a backsweetening addition with sugar.
