I make a wheat ale which is pretty much a witbier. Last night I squeezed some lemon juice into it, and it was very nice. What do the rest of you add to wheat beers in the glass?
I'm still hungover from that parade.Techno Viking friend, I just stick with a slice of orange or lemon. With an American Wheat, I just go Viking.
What yeast are you using? I get plenty of lemon zest from WLP400 without any addition.
.... We Germans like to add a bit of banana juice to a Hefeweizen.... And I think it tastes actually pretty nice... But don't tell anyone!
