Does the flavor of extracts increase with time? I’m going to play around with some chocolate and root beer extracts in a next batch of brown ale. In fear of adding too much, I’m going to add some extract to a bottle of brown ale to figure out how much to use. If I do get a good amount dialed in, and add it to the secondary will it stay that strong, or will the flavor enhance with time between the secondary and bottling?
