Love my aluminum pot. (also have a keggle). Is it feasible to use weldless ball valves etc on aluminum?

Yes, no problem as long as it's not extremely thin wall.

No problems with my weldless ball valve from bargain fittings or sight glass/temperature probe from Bobby_M on my Aluminum brew kettle.

while not commonly done....I believe you can also silver solder fitting to aluminum ...

looking to convert an old kettle into a herms/ hot liquor tank. burnt my coil in my rims system twice and really don't enjoy a 2 vessel system. feels like BIAB with more steps. could have saved lots of money and time going in that direction but to late to redo everything.
but to my point to a 8 year old post would silver solder work well?
