Well, not huge by some standards, but the biggest I've made to date
Have an IPA in primary that started at 1.063 with WLP001 Cali yeast.
Day 9 and its at 1.020 and bubbling thru the blowoff (1 per/second)

Since this is my highest OG to date, I'm a little nervous, but I'm sure
I'll get thru it.:D
I'll check gravity in a day or two and see where I'm at.
Expected FG is 1.015.

Should I transfer to secondary when I hit that target?
Or wait for two days of the same reading?

Any other tips on bigger brews/IPA?
I'm planning on 2 weeks in secondary with 1oz of Cascade.

Personally, I wouldn't even look at the SG again until it stops bubbling or you hit 14 days (whichever is later). Then if you get consistent SG for 2-3 days, go ahead and rack to secondary.

Yeah, don't mess with opening the fermenter until ALL activity stops. I would want that a little lower than 1.015 I would think with it being at 1.020 and it bubbling every sec that it should end up in the 1.010-1.012 area. A little dryer is always good on an IPA.

Looks like my last IPA. OG was 1.061 and it took 10 days to get to 1.013. I racked to keg after day 21 and it was 1.012. Of course your mash temp, yeast strain and many other factors are going to affect your FG, but just leave it be for a while.
