Hi everyone I'm going to make 1 gallon of cider to about 6 percent,

Going to use 4.5 litres of apple juice
Sugar (not sure how much yet)
Youngs cider yeast (how much)

Any tips so this doesn't taste like a bum?

Use enough sugar to raise the sg to about 1.060 or 1.065. If you dont have a hydrometer, 4oz per gallon should be about right for early season apples.

Use a third of a packet of yeast. Youngs cider yeast is OK if you like it really dry, Youngs ale yeast, Gervins English Ale, or Brupaks Ale will give you more apple flavor
