Did a couple searches on here to see if there had already been discussion on this topic but did not find any. I'm not real sure what to search for!

Situation:
I gave my buddy 12 home brew directly after bottling. I told him to wait at least a week before consuming.
He goes directly home and puts in fridge. (guess i forgot to mention to store in closet.)
Beer remains flat.

Question:
Can i re carbonate? If yes, just take out of fridge for a week or open all, pour in fermenter & re yeast?

Please help me save this amazing IPA!

You shouldn't have to reopen them or anything like that. Take the bottles out of the fridge, if they've been unopended, and let them sit and carbonate. Wait at least 2 weeks.
