Here was my recipe:
2 gal. tree top apple cider
4 cans seneca apple juice concentrate (1.5 qt. ea. reconstituted)
german ale yeast.
all ingredients put in a 3 gal. carboy.
Yeast was fermenting strongly within 12 rs of pitching
I didn't use a secondary, I kegged it after about a month.
It's been chilling in the keg for 3 weeks. The initial flavors are very pleasant, and then your hit with a nasty soapy taste. Will aging help? What causes that?
