I have had a weldless 1/2" NPT Bulkhead connected to a 1/2" ball valve and barb nipple in my keggle for about 6 months but never figured out the whole pick tube thing. I am looking to put together a pickup tube with parts that I can find at Home Depot or Lowes that don't require soldering. Can someone give me a list of parts I should look for? I would prefer the pickup tube draws between the center and side wall.

Well since no one replied I picked up a female npt to 1/2 inch with 2x 1/2 inch 45degree elbows and a 2 inch length of 1/2 inch copper. Now I just need to find a friend that knows how to solder copper.

sweating copper isnt hard. But the easiest way for a pickup tube is 1/2 copper bent to the angle you need. Then use a 1/2" compression x npt fitting.
