I stopped by the LHBS yesterday to pick up everything for the IPA I'm currently making, and I saw that the store was completely out of Centennial hops. I asked if they were all out and they said that everyone is out and that I'll have to wait for the new crop this fall. Anyone else experience this?

There are a number of hops that had poor crops last year. I don't recall if Centennial was one of them. The earlier croppers will be harvested in two weeks and Centennial is an "early to mid". freshops.com looks like it's out as well, but I'll try to remember to ask Dave on Wed.

I hope my hops plants do not reflect commercial crops! The pickings will be slim.

My LHBS even had a backup plan... They packaged a mixture of 70% Cascade and 30% Columbus pellet hops as a Centennial substitute.
