Hey Gang,
I'm still a rookie when it comes to home brew, so please go easy with the critique.
I wanted to share my experience with an order I placed with AHS, I was worried due to bad weather here in the Northwest (WA, ID) my white labs yeast arrived in my Irish Stout mini-mash kit partially frozen.
I tried search after search and was unable to really find a clear answer. I decided to let it sit out for almost 24 hours at room temp and give it a shake and pitch! I was concerned the freezing may have done a number on my yeast cells. After 24 hours in the fermenter I had good bubbling action in my airlock. OG was 1038 and a week later I'm down to 1010.
