I was going to put together a counter flow and was looking at coppertubingsales.com and they have three types. Is everyone getting the cheaper tubing? I am looking at 1/2"ID-5/8"OD. Was going to use 3/4" hose. Opinions? Thanks.

That's way too big, the wort is going to flow too fast to be adequately cooled unless you're using icewater as a coolant. At most, I'd go 1/2" OD but stick with the 3/4" hose. But yes, to answer your question, you want the cheaper stuff.

Yes, you want 1/2' O.D. refrigeration tubing. I bought 50' from those guys a couple weeks ago. They are dirt cheap too? Like $36 for 50'

I just built an IC this week, and when I added the shipping cost to the coppertubingsales price, it was exactly the same price as Lowes
