last night I finished drying the last of my hops. I obviously have some issues with a couple plants. My 4th year Cascade only pumped out a whopping ounce of dried hops. My 2nd year Perle also only kicked out an ounce of dry hops.
Here is where I actually got some good production. Both of my 2nd year Williamette and Mt. Hood produced about a pound each.
My best producer is my 4th year Nugget. It took 3 days to harvest, and dry. I ended up with a half an ounce shy of 3 1/2 POUNDS of dry hops !!!!! :rockin:
I put them all in one of those XL ziplock bags, the 10 gallon size, and it barely fit !!
I dried them all in my Gardenmaster dehydrator, set at around 100*. Depending on how wet the hops were, it took around 7 to 8 hours to dry a batch. I have 12 trays.
I just thought I would pass along my final results.
Time to brew
