This is my first batch of brew and had a quick ??? I'm going to use primming tablets when bottleing. Would it be better to small them up and then put them in the bottle?? Because I read other post of people having white stuff floating in their beer and thought maybe it had to due with it not disolving all the way?????

If you are going to do that you may as well disolve sugar in water and just mix it with your beer. The idea behind the tabs is that they are easy to add to the bottle, I have had them disolve completely every time, the white stuff is probably just yeast that settled out of the beer.

Am I the only one that thinks that priming tabs are more work then just boiling water and dextrose and adding that?
