New to brewing and I bounce between all grain and extracts. Today I wanted to do a Mr beer iris stout and add coco powder and coffee. What is a fermentable sugar I can I add to up the abv?

Molasses sounds good. I never started it Sunday as I was waiting for Intel on the situation. Thank you for the input.

I would stay away from any kind of sugar such as dextrose or molasses on this beer. As it is a Mr. Beer kit, there probably will not be much body to it anyway and adding a sugar like that is going to make it very thin. I would recommend some dark DME to up the fermentables and give it more body.

Just my 0.02.
