I saw this add when i got home and wanted to share.

Step Drills

I bought this set a while back when I made my keggle and had no problems. Just wanted to share the deal. I think you can order online or by phone if you need.

Why do you need a belt/disk sander to make a keggle?

The last time I looked at the set a HB they only went up to 1/2"

I bought and used step bits from HFT to drill holes for elements in keggles.
slow & steady pressure with cutting oil and they worked out good for the price.

Maybe I just got a bad set from there. Did not work good for me even with cutting fluid. Bought a irwin for a ton more but wow, it was like night and day. The majority of the stuff I buy from there works fine for what I need it to do but unfortunately this was a fail for me. ... the thing is that it wasn't all of the steps that didn't work. Worked fine up till about 1/2 inch then didn't work. I really think I just got a bad set.
