Following on from my Bitter/Northern Brown Ale, I wanted to try and do another German style. Here is the recipe that I used.

1lb Medium Roasted Buckwheat Crystal
1lb Medium Malted and roasted buckwheat
250g Flaked Maize
250g flaked Millet
1lb Golden Syrup
1lb of caster sugar
2oz Hallertau
1 teaspoon Irish moss

Again, threw everything in at the beginning and held the water at 160f/70c for 2 hours. Rinsed the grains, added the water back from them and turned up the heat. Threw in the hops for an hour on a roiling boil. Here are a few pictures of it from the beginning and me filtering it now. I wi add more pictures of it once it has been carbonated for a while.

Sorry, no idea. I can never be bothered with doing it. Too much like hard work. Though it is probably around 6%.
