I thought it would be nice to paint the outsides of some cornies and mini-kegs I have. Maybe using one of those spray paints that gives the appearence of beaten copper or some other faux finish.

Any ideas about doing this?

I figured I would clean up the outside, use a Rustoleum primer, then hit it with the paint (metal portions only). How well will paint stick to stainless?

I would call a good paint store and ask them. I had a friend paint one of my nasty kegs with Ceramacoat (insulation material) and it stuck to the finish fine. Ceramacoat is paint with ceramic dust in it.
Obviously you would have to clean the surface of all dirt, grease, etc so the paint would stick.
Take some pics and post them.
