I know this has been asked before, i did some searching and found an answer to one of my questions, which was regarding headspace, i found to keep it the same as a 12 oz bottle. My other question, priming, i do 5 gallon batches, do i use the same amount of priming sugar? I thought i remembered reading somewhere that you use less sugar because there is less headspace in the whole batch, being that theres less bottles. So, should i use my normal 5 oz, or should i cut it back?

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else.

Thanks guys

I do 5 gal batches and usually do half in flip top and half in pop top bottles. I always use mr malty for my priming sugar quantities and it works for me.
