Last Monday was the 30th anniversary party for Sierra Nevada. And I believe the first party of this kind ever done by this brewery. Even though I dont remember half of it, I know it was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed their Oktoberfest they put on for the first time this year, we can just say their was a plethora of beer which was mostly free, the best kind.
One 30$ ticket includes balloon glass and 15 tasting tickets. They also had free transportation to and from downtown which was cool.
They were going to have it in the hop field again like the Oktoberfest but the venue changed due to weather to the loading and bottling warehouse :rockin:. This was cool with me as I have never been in there (tours dont go to the bottling warehouse).
I apologize for the crappy iphone pics.
A good turnout despite being a Monday.

At this point we had been there since 4 and it was 8. Over half of the beers were between 8-12%. Which is a 100% chance that were f%@ked up.

The first of three bands to play. The last band they where filming for PBS "Roy Rodgers" I think so look for it. Also those three kettles in the back were just bought from Japan. Rumor has it that they are building a Japanese tea/beer garden at the tap room...sounds crazy I know.
