Hi guys I'm new to cider, have a few questions for recipe and bottling etc.

First the recipe I started is,

4 litres of cloudy apple juice (contains apple juice, asorbic acid and vit c)
A third of a pack of youngs cider yeast
One teaspoon of ground cinnomon
Pectin
Yeast nutrient

The gravity reads about 1.070
This is one gallon batch

Secondly, do istop fermentation, or simply bottle into swing caps when I hit 1.00?

Also any ideas if this will taste like bum or okay? Thanks

Check out the Caramel Apple Cider thread. Lots of good info about guys doing 1 gallon batches. I am close to bottling my 1st gallons.

1 teaspoon for a 1 gallon batch seems like an awful lot. I'd cut it down to maybe .5 teaspoon
