I got my next 2 kits in the mail recently and the liquid yeast came with a melted ice bag which I've read plenty of threads on here so I was a little worried about and know I should make a starter to see if it takes off. I unfortunately don't have a proper yeast starting jug yet or a mason jar and was wondering if it will work in a pot that is covered with foil/plastic wrap? My last batch I used dry yeast and woke it up in a cooled boil mixture of DME and water in a pot covered with platic wrap before I pitched. Anyone use a simple pot to get their white labs luquid yeast going or should I just put it off and wait until I can do it in a more suitable container. Thanks
