Not sure if all of you are familiar with Instructables, but besides HBT it's my favorite website. It's very similar actually. Just a giant How-To website. I just thought I'd spread the love and post a how-to for my stir plate and within 30 minutes I had made the front page.

great instructable. I love that site, BTW. I made my very similar to yours, but used a square tupperware instead of cigar box. Also, I didn't even bother with a on/off switch. I just plug it in to turn it on :) Yeah, I'm cheap.

hard drive magnet, computer fan, etc. that's the way to go. works great!
