I realize I'm on the wrong forum but I was wondering if anyone can point me into the direction of whiskey making? Books to read? Sites to go to? I would really appreciate it
 
Distilling is illegal, and we're not allowed to discuss it here.
 
AFAIK that's not a legal hobby. Maybe you live somewhere that it is, but being that this website is based in a country where it is illegal, your question will probably not get any answers.
 
There ARE some good forums out there, but this is not one of them. Google can point you to the right place for talk of distilling.
