candi syrup in cider?

Has anybody had experience using candi syrup (like the Dark or D2 candi/caramel syrup, not the rock sugar) in a cider? I've been thinking about trying this, but I'm really unsure about the outcome.. It could go either way.
 
Bump for an old thread. I have some homemade candi syrups and am thinking about doing this soon.

Anyone?
 
Sounds like a good enough reason to make a gallon size batch alongside the 'safe' recipe.

Report the results, eh?
