Stainless pot used to boil seafood...still good?

I found a good deal on a used stainless pot, but the seller described using it to boil seafood. I recall reading somewhere that this imparts flavors on the pot that can't be removed. Is this true? Does anyone have experience with this type of situation?

Nevermind. Like i figured, the pot was listed at stainless, but after double checking the seller determined it was Aluminum.
