I just completed brewing a porter. It was an extract kit with 8 oz. of crystal and 8 oz. of black patent malt grains that I steeped at 155 F for 30 minutes.
When I was entering the recipe on Beer Smith, I'm confused as to how I enter these grains. Is it considered a partial mash or do I just enter them in the ingredients list and consider it an extract brew?
