So i washed tthe yeast cake and banked several jars worth of the 1968 ESB strain from a batch of AHS Black Ale.

How much flavor from the the previous beer is imparted to the next one when using washed yeast? or wil lit just affect the color?

What would it do if i used it with my AHS Anniversary ESB?

Very little flavour will be carried over to the next batch. Especially if you pour off the water from the mason jar before pitching the yeast.

Same with color. Color is determined by what specialty grains you are using. It will ferment your AHS ESB just fine.
