I'm waiting for my extract to boil, fully prepared to stop boil overs.

I'm filming it for fun.

Brown Ale kit from MLBS with specialty grains. I've been anticipating this like Christmas morning. :rockin:

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I remember when I popped my brewing cherry... ENJOY IT!!!

And save a 6 pack of those bottles to go back and taste a year from now!

Watch it, when it goes it can really go. Best of luck and have fun.

Oh, for sure. I've got my spray bottle in hand. I wont say, "Bring it!", but I'm ready. (hurry and type this fool! it could be going!!)

It was, LOL. caught it with just a few drops over. DANG!!! :D

Just let it warm back up while aerating. Or let it sit overnight and pitch tomorrow. Pitching that low might not be a good idea.

It's about 59-60 now. I'm waiting for it to warm up. The hops smell so good. I had no idea.

Boil overs. I kept catching them right as they were spilling so the mess wasn't too bad, but I had to use a spatula to push the hops back into the boil because they were collecting on the sides of the kettle and lid.

This was a humbling process.

Oh yeah. I pulled a sample and let it warm to 60, and my OG is 1.041. I was shooting for 1.044.
